Draught Stabilisers help the combustion process by counteracting fluctuations in temperature, pressure and wind which would otherwise cause a variation in the flow of air through the combustion chamber of a furnace or other appliance. By maintaining a consistant draught, the stabiliser helps maximise fuel economy by making the combustion process more complete. More efficient combustion means lower fuel bills.

A series of single or double-acting controls for use in industrial, commercial and large-residential applications. For any installation with 10" or larger diameter smoke pipe the Type M+MG2 is the standard stabiliser and can be adapted according to the fuel used. For gas appliances the double-acting control is specified instead of a draught hood so that the chimney assists the appliance. For dual-fuel (oil/gas) applications a double-acting control is recommended in conjunction with a thermal switch to protect against downdraughts and flue blockages. For oil and solid fuel use, a single-acting control is recommended. The Type M+MG2 is available in diameters from 10" to 32" and can be installed in horizontal, vertical and sloping flues.

A double-acting control that can relieve positive vent system pressures as low as 0,001". The MG-1 provides precise contol of draughts at levels higher than permitted by a standard draught diverter. For use with gas-fired furnaces and boilers, and gas atmospheric appliances with venting problems or where a draught hood cannot be installed. The type MG-1 is available in diameters from 4" to 9" and can be installed in horizontal, vertical and sloping flues.

Our most accurate control for residential oil and coal applications, the Type M is perfect when a high level of stability is essential. This stabiliser features an infinitely variable screw adjustment for precise draught regualtion and side wings to compensate for the horizontal and vertical positioning. The Type M is available in diameters from 6" to 9" and can be installed in horizontal, vertical and sloping flues.

Application: Residential
A single-acting control for oil and solid fuel use, the Type RC is designed for settings from 0.02" to 0.08". This sensitivity means that the use of instrumentation is recommended when making adjustments during installation. Available in diameters 4" to 9" for fixing to horizontal, vertical and sloping flues.

The DR is a single-acting control for oil and solid fuel use for fixing to a horizontal, vertical and sloping flues. Available in the standard 8" diameter, this control is adjustable to maintain constant draughts throuh the range of 0.01" to 0.20".
