»Description
The Ventmaster AG is a high quality gas vent system suitable for use with atmospheric gas fired appliances with flue gas temperatures of up to 250°C continuous firing. The system consists of straight lengths and associated components in 14 internal diameters from 175mm to 600mm.

»Construction
The Ventmaster AG system has an aluminium inner liner covered by a high quality zalutite/galvanised steel outer casing. The system is insulated by a 7mm air gap for diameters 90-200mm and a 12.5mm air gap for diameters 250-600mm. All lengths and associated fittings are assembled by means of a simple push-snap action. The Ventmaster AG System is manufactured under the strict control of ISO 9001 and is manufactured and tested to BS,715 1993.

»Application
The Ventmaster AG System should be used with atmospheric gas fire appliances with a natural draught, where the pressure in the vent is zero or negative and where the flue gas temperature does not exceed 250°C.

»Assembly
All lengths and associated fittings are complete with spigot and socket ends with a simple push-snap action fitting. Each joint is made by pushing the elements into each other until the outer walls connect. The locking spigots will "click" when the connection is complete. No locking bands are necessary. This method is used for all diameters. When assembling the flue, the bottom of each component is recognised by the locking barbd at the female wnd of each component. Dismantling is achieved by an easy twist and pull action.

»Support
Where possible the system should be independently supported. The AG system is complete with load bearing and lateral support components. The system must be laterally supported at a maximum distance of two meters, using a wall band (GKL).

»Lengths and Associated Components
Flashing and Terminals
A range of flashings are available to provide weather protection where a gas vent penetrates a roof. A storm collar must be clamped and sealed above the flashing. To terminate the gas vent Rain Caps and a Universal Cowl are available.

»Authority
The Ventmaster AG Gas System 100 - 150mm, is tested to BS 715 1993, as stated in BISRIA Report No's 14146/1 and 14146/4. In addition the product is also approved by the following European Standards;
